Installation

DualStream is available for Windows and for macOS on Apple Silicon. On iPhone, get DualStream Go from the App Store.

Windows

Windows 10 or later with a 64-bit architecture is required to run DualStream.

1. Visit dualstream.gg and download the installer.
2. Locate and run the downloaded installer file.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
4. Launch DualStream.

The first time you open DualStream, Guided Setup tests your PC and sets up your studio with you.

Updates

DualStream will notify you when updates are available. To manually check:

1. Navigate to Settings → General → Updates.
2. Click Check for Updates.

If an update is available, download it and install.

Troubleshooting Installation

Antivirus False Positives

Some antivirus software may incorrectly flag the DualStream installer. This is a false positive — DualStream is safe to install.

To work around this:

• Temporarily disable real-time protection while installing (re-enable it after).
• Or add DualStream to your antivirus allowlist/whitelist.

Outdated System Components

If installation fails:

• Ensure your Windows operating system is fully up to date via Settings → Windows Update.
• Run the Windows System File Checker by opening Command Prompt as administrator and entering: sfc /scannow
