Portal Codes

Portal codes connect two creators who both use DualStream, on Mac or Windows. The guest sends a camera, virtual camera, NDI or Spout2 source with their audio, and the host adds it to their scene.

Join Someone's Stream

1. Click Portal in the toolbar and open Create Portal.
2. Pick the video and audio to send, and choose Camera or Voice only.
3. Click Start Portal.
4. Share your code, your handle or the invite link (Copy invite link) with the host.

Your Portal stays up until you end it or it runs out: 30 minutes on a free account, hours with Premium.

Add a Creator to Your Stream

1. Open Add a Guest from the Portal button, or Sources > Portal.
2. Type their code or username under Code or username.
3. Pick a mic under Send my audio back (so they can hear you) so they hear you.
4. Click Connect.

They land in your active scene as a layer you can place, crop and style on each canvas. Creators you've added before are listed above the code box, so you can add them again in one click.
