Recommended Settings
| Setting | Recommended Value |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 1920×1080 |
| Framerate | 60 FPS |
| Bitrate | 6,000 kbps (Affiliate/Partner) |
| Encoder | Hardware (NVENC/AMF/QuickSync) |
Twitch caps bitrate at 6,000 kbps for most streamers. Twitch Partners may have higher limits.
VOD Track
Twitch VODs can be muted if copyrighted audio is detected. Use the Exclude from VOD Track toggle on individual audio sources to keep music out of your VOD while keeping it in your live broadcast. See Audio for details.
Chat Integration
DualStream's built-in Chatter Box widget pulls Twitch chat directly — no browser source needed. Follows, subs, bits, and raids all trigger DualStream's native Alert system.
FAQ
My stream key changed — do I need to reconnect?
No. DualStream uses OAuth authentication, not manual stream keys. Your connection persists until you revoke it.
Can I stream to multiple Twitch accounts?
You can connect one Twitch account per DualStream instance.
Twitch says my bitrate is too high.
Non-Partner/Affiliate accounts are limited. Try 3,000–4,500 kbps.
