Text
Add and customize text layers with fonts, colors, and styling.
Text layers let you add custom text to your scenes — stream titles, lower thirds, labels, or anything you want on screen.
Add a Text Layer
- Click the Text button in the Toolbar at the bottom of the viewport.
- The text configuration form opens inline.
- Type your text and it appears on the canvas.
Editing & Styling
All text styling is done in the Inspector Panel → Properties tab:
Content
Type or paste text directly. Emojis and symbols are supported.
Font
Choose from any font installed on your system using the font dropdown.
Font Weight
Select Regular, Bold, Italic, or other weights available for the chosen font family.
Font Size
Enter a pixel value, or click and drag the font size icon to adjust interactively.
Text Color
Pick a color using the color picker, or enter a HEX value directly.
Background Color
Toggle on Background to add a colored backdrop behind your text. Choose the color via the picker or HEX input.
